What is the Training Visa?
The Training Visa is intended for those who want to come to Ireland to attend a training course. Depending on the duration of the training course, foreign citizens can apply for a Short Stay ‘C’ Visa or a Long Stay ‘D’ Visa.
If you want to come to Ireland to participate in a training course that is shorter than 90 days, you should apply for the Short Stay Visa. If, however, the training programme will last longer than 90 days, you have to obtain the Long Stay Visa.
